Reston, December 2012 -- InDyne is proud to announce that it has been awarded the US Army Corps of Engineers’ Maintenance and Services for Access Control Points, Electronic and Physical Security Systems, Utility Monitoring and Control Systems, and Other Electronic Systems (M&S ACP/ESS/UMCS) contract. This is a MAC IDIQ contract spanning three base years and a 2 year option. Period of performance begins 11 December 2012. The contract value is $250 million. Places of performance are worldwide and determined by task order.

This contract’s primary tasks include providing continuous technical and programmatic service and support to a worldwide Federal client base that relies on both Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS) and Electronic Security Systems (ESS).

The UMCS Program provides expertise to survey, procure, install, test, operate, and maintain utility monitoring and control systems and other electronic systems such as fire alarms, heating, ventilation, air- conditioning, and supervisory control and data acquisition. The ESS Program provides similar expertise to survey, procure, install, test, operate, and maintain electronic security systems. The nature of the services includes technical assistance and programmatic support. The Technical and Programmatic Support Services contract requires the contractor to have the capability to respond to multiple requests for work at diverse locations. The large majority of the work will take place in the United States to include the Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. Territories and possessions. However, overseas work equates to 5% or less of the overall scope, including the Germany, Italy, Japan, and South Korea.
